Job summary

FWD Takaful Berhad seeks a Business Development Manager to lead growth across Central, Southern, Northern, and East Malaysia. You will craft and implement strategies, engage bank partners, coach sales teams, and drive performance while maintaining client relationships.

Strong leadership and market insight are essential. The role focuses on expanding bancatakaful opportunities, analyzing KPI, and delivering reports to management for strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in Takaful/Financial industry.
• Diploma in Economics, Business Management, Marketing, Finance/Accounting or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or professional certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company goals and objective.
• Identify, advise on new business development strategies and opportunities through research and analysis, feedback from the bank sales team.
• Monitor and update business performance against KPI and analyze deviations and implications to the department.
• Drive bancatakaful with branches and salespeople through training, coaching, motivation and sales propositions, as well as support on after-sales service and sales quality monitoring.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, bank partners and industry stakeholders.
• Act as the point of contact for partners and clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Prepare regular reports on business development activities, progress and outcomes and present findings to management for growth.
• Initiating, developing and executing sales proposals with bank partners and branches to drive growth.
