Job summary

FWD Takaful Berhad seeks a Regional Head to lead, manage and develop the business across a designated geographical region, ensuring achievement of strategic objectives and financial targets.

You will oversee regional sales, operations and partnerships, build high-performing teams, monitor market trends, ensure regulatory compliance, and report performance to senior management to drive sustainable growth across markets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; master's preferred.
10+ years regional sales/business development experience in financial services or insurance; 5+ years in leadership.
Proven track record of achieving regional targets.
Strong understanding of Takaful principles and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement regional business strategies in alignment with the company's goals and Takaful principles.
Lead and motivate a team of regional sales and operations professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
Oversee the achievement of regional sales targets, market share growth, and profitability.
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and partnerships within the assigned region.
Manage regional budgets, resources, and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies for Takaful products and services.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform regional strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including agents, distributors, and customers.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and facilitate professional development for regional staff.
Prepare and present regional performance reports to senior management.

Job Summary

Strong understanding of Takaful principles, products, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make sound decisions.
Demonstrated ability to build, motivate, and manage high-performing teams.
Proficiency in data analysis and presentation tools.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
