Job summary

FWD Takaful Berhad seeks a Regional Head to lead, manage and develop the business across a designated geographical region, ensuring achievement of strategic objectives and financial targets.

You will oversee regional sales, operations and partnerships, build high-performing teams, monitor market trends, ensure regulatory compliance, and report performance to senior management to drive sustainable growth across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; master's preferred.
• 10+ years regional sales/business development experience in financial services or insurance; 5+ years in leadership.
• Proven track record of achieving regional targets.
• Strong understanding of Takaful principles and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional business strategies in alignment with the company's goals and Takaful principles.
• Lead and motivate a team of regional sales and operations professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee the achievement of regional sales targets, market share growth, and profitability.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and partnerships within the assigned region.
• Manage regional budgets, resources, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies for Takaful products and services.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform regional strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including agents, distributors, and customers.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and facilitate professional development for regional staff.
• Prepare and present regional performance reports to senior management.
