Job summary

Minivasive Pain and Orthopedics seeks a Referral Intake Coordinator to secure authorizations and schedule initial patient appointments. You will enter referral data, manage LOPs, and coordinate with referrals and internal teams to keep patient status updated.

Ideal candidates have 1 year in a medical office, familiarity with Salesforce/eCW, and strong communication skills to handle inquiries promptly in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• HIPAA and healthcare privacy knowledge required.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, eCW, and MS Office.
• Experience in data entry and patient information management.

Responsibilities

• Secure and confirm authorizations before scheduling.
• Collect and track referrals and maintain a referral log.
• Create patient charts in Salesforce and eCW with accurate data.
• Schedule and adjust initial consultations as needed.
• Communicate appointment details and updates to patients and referrals.
