Job summary

SAM Malaysia is seeking a proactive Recruiter to lead end-to-end hiring, build strong talent pipelines, and support growth across the organization. You’ll design strategies, craft job adverts, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and guide both candidates and managers through the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the TA Manager to design and execute recruitment strategies aligned with manpower plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with higher education institutions to develop talent pipelines.
• Craft compelling job advertisements and publish them across portals and social media.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and shortlist high-potential candidates.
• Coordinate and participate in interviews with hiring managers.
• Guide candidates and hiring managers through the recruitment process.
• Conduct pre-employment checks, including reference and background verification.
• Prepare and present job offers to selected candidates.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define qualifications and anticipate future hiring needs.
• Proactively source candidates via social media, professional networks, and talent events.
• Track recruitment metrics to optimize strategies.
• Organize in-house recruitment events and represent the company at job fairs.
• Maintain a database of potential candidates for future opportunities.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the TA Manager.
