SAM Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner Manager to align HR strategies with manufacturing operations. You will partner with production and functional leaders to manage manpower planning, ER/IR case handling, and workforce stability in a fast-paced environment.
You will drive performance management, succession planning, and collaboration with L&D on capability building, while supporting hiring for critical roles and ensuring compliance with Malaysian labour laws and
Partner with Production and functional leaders to align HR strategies with business and operational needs
Support manpower planning, workforce stability, and organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Manage employee and industrial relations matters including disciplinary cases, grievances, and domestic inquiries
Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and internal HR policies and procedures
Drive performance management processes, including appraisal cycles and talent development initiatives
Support succession planning and collaborate with L&D on capability building programs
Work closely with Talent Acquisition team to fulfill hiring needs for critical roles
Provide insights on hiring challenges and workforce trends, especially for technical positions
Lead employee engagement initiatives and maintain effective communication between management and employees
Ensure HR documentation, reporting, and audit readiness are properly maintained
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field with 5-8 years of HR experience in manufacturing
Strong hands-on experience in ER/IR case handling and good knowledge of Malaysian labor laws
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
5-8 years of HR experience, preferably in HRBP function
Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices
Experience in handling ER/IR matters in manufacturing environment is an advantage
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
