Job summary

SAM Malaysia is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to forecast staffing, plan hiring, and lead recruitment across Corporate, Machining, and Equipment divisions. You will define effective TA strategies, build a strong employer brand, and ensure a positive candidate experience while supporting retention and development.

The role reports to the Head of HR within the COE team. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of TA experience, strong leadership, and expertise in MS Office; familiarity with

Job description

The duties of a Talent Acquisition Manager include forecasting staffing needs, developing hiring plans, leading employment branding initiatives, sourcing candidates, conducting recruitment processes to bring in the right candidates, creating positive candidate experiences and assisting in employee retention and development.

To be responsible for manpower planning and administration

Roles and responsibilities

Responsible for identifying, attracting, and retaining qualified candidates to support the business in terms of its hiring.

Be the central Talent Acquisition to coordinate and facilitate hiring from Corporate Office, Machining and Equipment's Divisions.

Defining talent acquisition strategies to organization’s business needs.

Defining ways to sourcing and attracting qualified talent utilizing all available channels including company’s careers page, job boards, social media, work marketplaces, and more.

Contribute in building a strong employer brand, i.e. An employer brand is a company’s reputation from a candidate perspective.

Identifying ways to improve the candidate experience so not to lose top candidates to competing job offers.

Define assessment methodology of potential candidates on hard and soft skills prior to escalating the candidates to next hiring process.

Automating in certain hiring steps and improving candidate communication throughout the process.

Responsible for Manpower Planning for total organization SAMEE Malaysia.

Overseeing talent acquisition and recruitment teams.

Any other responsibilities assigned by superior from time to time.

Reporting line and subordinates

This Talent Acquisition Manager is part of the COE Team and reports directly into the Head of HR.

The subordinates of this role are the recruiters and recruitment specialists from Corporate, Equipment and Machining Divisions.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Human Resource Management or Business Administration Management and familiar with Employment Act.

Preferably with at least 5-10 years related working experience.

Possess excellent decision-making, strategic thinking, leadership, interpersonal skills and ethical conduct.

Well versed in M/S Office.
