Job summary

SAM Malaysia, a subsidiary of SAM Engineering & Equipment, is seeking an Administrative & Procurement Specialist to support day-to-day operations and maintain item master data in Oracle. You will coordinate office procurement, liaise with vendors, and assist the NPI Manager in Engineering Development activities.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a related field, are proficient in MS Office, and possess strong English and interpersonal skills to engage with internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic data management.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to ensure smooth day-to-day activities.
• Manage item master data in the Oracle system.
• Procure and replenish general office supplies and consumables.
• Liaise with vendors on general office equipment, appliances, and related requirements.
• Provide administrative support to the NPI Manager to support Engineering Development activities.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the NPI Manager.

Job description

Provide administrative and operational support to ensure smooth day-to-day activities. Manage relevant data and documentation, coordinate procurement for office-related requirements, liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders, and support the department in carrying out its functions effectively.

To manage and maintain item master data in the Oracle system.

To manage the procurement and replenishment of general office supplies and consumables to ensure sufficient availability.

To liaise with vendors on general office equipment, appliances, and related requirements.

To provide administrative support to the NPI Manager to support the effectiveness of the Engineering Development function.

To perform any other duties as assigned by the NPI Manager from time to time.

Requirements:

Education Background:

Diploma, Degree or equivalent

Experience:

At least 2 years working experience in related field

Special Skills & Knowledge:

Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Good command of oral and written English.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to lead, manage, motivate and negotiate with employees at all levels. Good operational, leadership and interpersonal skills with excellent drive and enthusiasm
