Job summary

SAM Engineering & Equipment (M) Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Malaysia to support machine maintenance, reduce downtime, and uphold product quality as per customer specifications and company standards.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting during alarms, and adherence to housekeeping and work instructions. Join a cross-functional team within a global aerospace and semiconductor-focused group.

Qualifications

• Tool handling and basic mechanical skills.
• Follow work instructions and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and assist with machine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in machine repairs and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot when machines are in alarm status.
• Maintain cleanliness and servicing of the shop floor.
• Handle simple machine maintenance tasks.
• Use and care for baseline equipment and tools.
• Maintain good housekeeping of the work area.
• Follow basic work instructions and ensure tasks are properly arranged.
• Assist supervisor with additional duties as needed.

Maintenance Technician (Immediate Hiring)

To provide full assistance and support on machine maintenance, target to reduce machine down time

To fabricate the highest quality of the product in accordance with Customer Specification and Company Standard.

Roles And Responsibilities:

Necessary to participate every machine repairing.

Immediately action to do troubleshooting while machine in alarm status.

Maintaining of shop floor in terms of cleaning and servicing.

Able to handle simple machine maintenance process.

Able to use and take care basis equipment and tools

Responsible for housekeeping of work area.

Follow basis work instruction accordingly.

Ensure that all tasks assigned are properly arranged.

All others responsibilities assigned by supervisor from time to time.

Requirements:

Certificate in Mechanical/Engineering or SPM
