Job summary

WIKICAREER SDN. BHD. is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to manage end-to-end hiring for gig workers and white-collar professionals across Malaysia. You will source, screen, interview, and present candidates that meet client requirements, while building a strong local talent pipeline.

You will collaborate with hiring managers, maintain safety and compliance standards, generate weekly dashboards, and negotiate offers to secure the best talent for clients nationwide.

Qualifications

• 2+ years recruitment experience in Malaysia (agency/corporate).
• Experience recruiting gig workers and white-collar roles is a plus.
• Excellent interviewing and assessment skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for diverse roles across Malaysia.
• Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline through multi-channel sourcing.
• Conduct skills and cultural fit assessments to match client needs.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment standards (EPF, SOCSO, EIS).
• Manage end-to-end recruitment process including shortlisting, CV ranking, interview scheduling, and offer negotiations.
• Collaborate with HODs, hiring managers, and clients to understand hiring needs.
• Generate weekly recruitment dashboards: pipeline status, conversion rates, time-to-fill.

Job description

The Recruiter is responsible for end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing to placement, for both gig workers and white-collar professionals across Malaysia. This role plays a key part in meeting client demands, supporting business growth, and expanding WIKICAREER’s talent pool nationwide.

Key responsibilities

Source, screen, and interview high-caliber candidates for diverse roles (gig workers to white-collar professionals) across Malaysia

Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline of qualified Malaysian candidates through multi-channel sourcing including JobStreet, LinkedIn, Jora, local professional networks, industry events, campus recruitment, referrals, and internal ATS/CRM databases

Leverage local market insights to identify passive candidates in manufacturing, logistics, F&B, and professional services

Conduct thorough skills and cultural fit assessments to match candidates with client specifications

Ensure candidates meet Malaysian employment standards (EPF, SOCSO, EIS compliance)

Manage end-to-end recruitment process including shortlisting, CV ranking, interview scheduling, coordination, client feedback loops, salary benchmarking, and offer negotiations

Build long-term candidate relationships as talent ambassadors for WIKICAREER

Provide personalized career guidance to candidates throughout application journey

Collaborate with HODs, hiring managers, and clients to understand hiring needs

Generate weekly recruitment dashboards: pipeline status, conversion rates, time-to-fill

Track key recruitment KPIs and provide improvement recommendations

Comply with company's safety rules and ensure safe working environment

Ensure safety, orderly, and cleanliness of work station area

About you

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field; master's or HR Business Administration certification is an advantage

2+ years recruitment experience in Malaysia (agency/corporate)

Proven recruitment experience in Malaysia with experience in both gig and white-collar recruitment a plus

Excellent interviewing and assessment skills

Strong communication and negotiation abilities
