Job summary

Kenneth Dart’s Dart Real Estate is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join our finance team in the Cayman Islands. You will manage supplier invoices, process payments, and support balance sheet reconciliations in a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate has ACCA/CPA/CA designation (or pursuing), strong Excel skills with Pivot tables, and at least 3 years’ US GAAP accounting experience, with a focus on inventory accounting and vendor communications.

Job description

We are now accepting applications for the following position:

RESPNSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Accounts Payables Functions
• Communicating with vendors on invoice and payment queries
• Preparing and processing vendor payments
• Investigating and resolving outstanding vendor issues
• Posting daily sales and cash journals
• Assist with Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Participate in store inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
• Prepare adhoc reports for Accountant upon request.
• Performing other ad hoc tasks as required

QUALIFICATION:

• Pursuing Accounting Designation ACCA, CPA, CA preferred
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains accounting system preferred.
• Expert working knowledge with Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with Pivot tables.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting in a similar role with knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles
• Experience in the retail industry and understanding of inventory accounting.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and holidays, as needed.
• Ability to learn and work independently in a deadline driven environment.
• Proven problem solving and investigative skills

Salary Range: CI$35,000 - CI$45,000 per annum
