Job summary

BIG APPLE INTERASIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an accounting/finance professional to verify and reconcile daily sales from own-operated stores, including POS, cash, card and e-wallet collections. The role also monitors cash banking and investigates discrepancies.

You will reconcile food delivery platform settlements, prepare daily/monthly reports, and support invoicing processes. Prior experience in retail or F&B is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience in retail, F&B or multi-outlet environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of e-invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Verify and reconcile daily sales from own-operated stores, including POS, cash and e-wallet collections.
• Monitor stores cash banking and investigate sales or collection discrepancies.
• Reconcile food delivery platform sales, promotions, deductions and settlements against POS records.
• Prepare daily and monthly sales collection reports.
• Support invoice, credit note and e-invoice processing.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Process staff claims and petty cash payments.
• Prepare journal entries and schedules for month-end closing.
• Assist with other accounting duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
