Zohorecruit invites applications for an Accounting Manager / Finance Manager to lead the accounting function for a growing property-related group in Temerloh, Malaysia. The role focuses on accounting, management reporting and financial operations, with exposure to broader finance and corporate matters.

The successful candidate will oversee a team, prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow projections and liaise with auditors, bankers and tax agents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline or professional qualification.
• Experience in Property Development/Construction/Real Estate or related industries.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting experience with full set of accounts.
• Experience in supervising an accounting team.
• Good knowledge of management reporting, cash flow and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the accounts team in managing the full spectrum of accounting functions for the Group and subsidiaries.
• Review and oversee monthly management accounts, financial reports and group reporting.
• Prepare management reports including project costing, project accounts and cash flow projections.
• Monitor and maintain project accounts and track costs and financial performance.
• Oversee tax compliance and coordinate with external tax agents.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other relevant parties.
• Collaborate with bankers on facilities and financing matters.
• Support management in financial and corporate matters as required.
• Assist in reviewing financial aspects of contracts and liaise with lawyers or advisers.
