Job summary

KHARISMA WIRA SDN BHD is seeking a Contract & Procurement professional to study drawings, prepare valuations, and manage subcontractor and main-con claims. You will oversee cost analysis, quotations, and documentation throughout pre- and post-contract activities.

You will collaborate with consultants, suppliers, and contractors to ensure accurate budgeting and timely payments, with site visits to monitor progress and ensure contract compliance.

Qualifications

• Able to study Construction Drawings, Site inspection Report and other related documentation works.
• Must have 2 Years Experience Or Above in Construction Field; Possesses at least Professional Certificates / Diploma /Degree in relevant field.
• Able to conduct Bills of Quantity (BQ) / Quotation.
• Able to conduct cost comparison for all trades.
• Able to certify/examine work value done according to site completion.
• Good communication to other departments.
• In depth understanding of full cycle of BQ, Specifications, and contracts.
• Must be familiar with pre-contract and post-contract work such as request for quotation, cost analysis, evaluating claims and payment certification, evaluating and comparing quotations, etc.
• Good follow-up and organization skills.
• Project administration and documentation include preparation of interim valuations, pricing and agreement of contract variations, update claim submissions, preparation of final account.
• Manage sub-con payments and main-con claims.
• Manage back charges to sub-contractors in special events with proof of documents.
• Job site visiting and monitor site progress report.
• Prepare award of contract, checked contract documents and recommend contractor’s evaluation.
• Collaborate with consultants, suppliers and contractors.
• Acquire quotations from contractors and suppliers for the purpose of cost assessment, analysis or budgeting.
• Able to maintain proper and systematic documentation filing system for outgoing and incoming contract correspondences.
• To attend contract consultant meetings, site meetings, site valuation, site measurement and relevant regular meetings
• Input on-going development of new templates, documents, systems and processes for Contract and Procurement management to incorporate lessons learned and efficiencies.
• To undertake other ad-hoc duties as appropriate and as assigned by management.

Responsibilities
