Jora Malaysia is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage tender take-offs and procurement activities, including subcontract documentation, tender evaluation, and interviews. You will handle post-contract duties such as subcontract awards, progress claims, and payment verifications.
The role requires 6–10 years of QS experience, familiarity with construction contracts, and strong cost-control skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions, as relevant and required.
To be in-charge of taking-off quantities for tendering purposes.
To carry out procurement activities such as checking and finalization of sub-contract tender documentations; calling and opening of tenders; tender evaluation and comparison; arrangement and participation in tender clarification interviews; and preparation of sub-contract tender reports.
To be in-charge of post-contract duties in the following areas:
Prepare of sub-contract Award Letters and sub-contract Contract, including managing the entire subcontract award process.
Prepare and submit main contractor progress claim.
Verification of sub-contractor's payments and preparation of payment certificates.
Checking of Site OS's payment recommendation to sub-contractors and preparation of payment certificates.
Perform regular cost monitoring and evaluate variation orders to ensure construction costs are controlled within the approved project budget.
Taking-off quantities for final account purposes.
Preparation of final accounts
Settlement of final account with Consultant QS.
To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the Superior.
