Job summary

EWL ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. in Rawang, Selangor, is seeking a Tender/Bid Coordinator to prepare bill of quantities, tender documentation, and review contracts to identify risks.

You will perform tender analysis, develop compliance frameworks for tender policies and coordinate with departments, consultants and clients to ensure accurate submissions.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have at least a certificate or diploma or higher in a relevant field.
• Solid knowledge of construction processes and tendering.
• Experience with tender analysis and cost estimation is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Word/Excel; familiar with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BQ and tender documents.
• Submit tender and contract docs including bill of quantity.
• Review contract terms and highlight risks.
• Perform tender analysis and evaluation.
• Develop and monitor compliance of tender policies and guidelines.
• Coordinate with departments to compile information, specs and drawings.
• Follow up on post-tender evaluation.
• Provide cost control.
• Liaise with consultants, clients and authorities.
• Prepare LOA and subcontract agreements to sub-contractors.

This role involves preparing bill of quantity and tender documentation, reviewing contract terms to identify potential risks, performing tender analysis and evaluation, and developing compliance frameworks for tender contracts policies and guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare BQ and documents
• Prepare to submit tender and contract documentation including bill of quantity
• Review contract terms and highlight the potential risk
• Performs tender analysis and evaluation leading to preparation of tender bid
• Develop, review and monitor the compliance of the tender contracts policies and guidelines
• Coordinate with different departments to compile all the information, specifications and drawings required for each tender
• Follow up on post tender evaluation
• Provide cost control
• Liaise and coordinate with consultants, clients and relevant authorities
• Prepare LOA and subcontract agreement to sub-contractors

About you

• Candidate must possess at least Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent
• Sound knowledge of construction
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and AutoCad
• Construction estimating is advantageous
• Stable environment with large-scale structural steel fabrication projects.
