Job summary

Pagoda Steel Works in Malaysia is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support tendering, cost estimation and contract administration for steel structure projects. You will prepare cost estimates, manage VO, progress claims and final accounts, and monitor project costs with the project team.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, good communication, ability to work independently and in a team, and Malaysian citizenship.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience in steel structure is an advantage.
• Knowledge of tendering, cost estimation and contract administration.
• Familiar with progress claims, VO and final accounts.
• Good communication.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Self-motivated and responsible.
• Malaysian citizen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents, quantity measurement and cost estimation.
• Handle progress claims, Variation Orders (VO) and final accounts.
• Manage contract administration and contractual claims.
• Monitor project costs and cost control.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, subcontractors and project teams.
• Prepare quotations, cost comparisons and related reports.
