Job summary

Galak Maju Sdn Bhd in Negeri Sembilan invites applications for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support cost estimation, tender preparation, and contract administration across projects.

The successful candidate will assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, take-off quantities from drawings, and help control project budgets while liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients under the guidance of a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 1–2 years in construction; fresh grads welcome.
• Able to read construction drawings.
• Proficient in Excel and measurement software.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Responsible and deadline-oriented.
• EPF, SOCSO & EIS benefits.

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in cost estimation, tender preparation, project cost control, and contract administration for projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing cost estimates and tender documents
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ)
• Take-off quantities from drawings
• Assist in project costing and budget control
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
• Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor in contract administration

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Minimum 1-2 years working experience in construction industry (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Able to read and understand construction drawings
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and measurement software
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
