Job summary

BRB DESIGN SOLUTION SDN. BHD. is seeking a creative Interior Designer to develop interior concepts through to project completion. You will prepare mood boards, layouts and 3D visualisations, and coordinate drawings and materials for each project.

The role requires strong design sense, space planning skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion or similar tools. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture or related field.
• Fresh graduates encouraged; 1 year or more experience is a plus.
• Strong creativity and space-planning skills.
• Able to produce freehand sketches and design details.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion or similar tools.
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, drawings and construction details.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts based on client briefs and requirements.

Job description

We are looking for a creative and passionate Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong design sense and be able to develop creative and practical interior design solutions from concept development through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Develop creative and practical interior design concepts based on client briefs and project requirements.

Prepare mood boards, space planning, layouts, design presentations, and 3D visualisations.

Prepare and coordinate design drawings, detailed drawings, and material specifications.

Produce and revise design proposals based on feedback from clients and management.

Select suitable materials, finishes, furniture, colour schemes, and design elements.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and internal project teams.

Attend site visits, meetings, and inspections when required.

Monitor site progress to ensure works are carried out according to the approved design and drawings.

Resolve design and site-related issues during project implementation.

Ensure design quality and consistency are maintained throughout the project.

Requirements

Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with 1 year or more of relevant experience will be an added advantage.

Strong creativity, design sense, and space-planning skills.

Able to produce freehand sketches and design details.

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion, or other relevant design software.
