Job summary

Inzsef Design is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its Interior Design & Build team in Penang. You will prepare cost estimates, budgets, BOQ and tender pricing for interior fit-out projects, and carry out quantity take-offs from architectural, interior design and M&E drawings.

You will source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, prepare tender submissions and cost breakdowns, evaluate quotations, and assist in procurement.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Experience in interior fit-out / renovation / design & build projects is advantageous.
• Able to read drawings and perform quantity take-offs independently.
• Familiar with tendering, procurement, progress claims and variation orders.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and current market pricing.
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
• Fresh graduates with the right attitude are welcome to apply.

• Identify potential cost overruns early and recommend cost-saving alternatives
