Job summary

Motto Designs Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with interior design industry experience to manage cost planning, tender documentation, and budget control across projects. You will forecast material costs, prepare bills of quantities, track design and construction variances, value work on site, and liaise with clients and project teams to keep projects on budget and on schedule.

• quantity survey work experience related to interior design industry
• price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
• prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
• track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly
• measure and value the work done on site
• liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
• select and/or source construction materials
• Report or liaise with Project Manager/ Design Director of all related work matters
