Job summary

Jusgreat Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, subcontractors, claims and site measurements for construction and interior design projects. The role requires strong numerical skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and willingness to travel and be stationed at the site office. Interior Design knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal departments to arrange access to project sites.
• Work with subcontractors and supervisors to resolve technical queries.
• Prepare cost analysis, bills of quantities and tender documents.
• Evaluate variations, progress claims and subcontractor claims.
• Prepare interim certificates, variation orders and final accounts for subcontractors.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on material samples, technical data and shop drawings.
• Attend project meetings and provide administrative support as needed.

Quantity Surveyor / Site Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal departments to arrange access to project sites.
• Work closely with subcontractors and supervisors to resolve technical queries.
• Prepare cost analysis, bills of quantities and tender documents.
• Evaluate variations, progress claims and subcontractor claims.
• Prepare and submit monthly interim progress claims and variation orders to clients and consultants.
• Measure work quantities completed by workers and subcontractors.
• Monitor and maintain accurate site records, including records related to contractual claims.
• Prepare interim certificates, variation orders and final accounts for subcontractors.
• Request quotations and prepare quotation tabulations for sub-package awards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on material samples, technical data and shop drawings for submission.
• Monitor and update material submission approvals.
• Liaise with site personnel, consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Attend project meetings when required.
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
• Support the team in completing project-related tasks and achieving project goals.
• Adapt positively to changes and work effectively with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.

• Good computer skills and general computer literacy.
