Job summary

ZhongXiang Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support pre-tender activities in our piling projects. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and you will analyze tender scopes, prepare quantities, and assist with pricing and tender submissions.

The role involves evaluating quotations from contractors, preparing costing and quotations based on materials, and revising costs as required to align with project needs. Working days are Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Possess a relevant diploma/bachelor's degree or equivalent (Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Construction or related fields).
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; ability to work independently; computer literate.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and summarize tender scope; locate suppliers/contractors if necessary; prepare bills of quantities, pricing and tender submissions.
• Prepare costing and quotations for projects based on bill of materials and new project requirements.
• Evaluate quotations from contractors and suppliers; revise cost/quotation as required.
• Responsible for pre-tender work including tender scope analysis.
• Tender document preparation and tender calculation.

Responsible for pre-tender work, including analyzing and summarizing tender scope, locating suppliers and contractors if necessary, preparing bills of quantities, pricing and submitting tender documents

Responsible for preparation of tender document and tender calculation

Prepare costing and quotation for project base on bill of materials and new projectrequirements

Evaluate quotation from contractors and suppliers

Revise cost and quotation if/when required

Requirement
