Job summary

Edge Design & Contracts Sdn Bhd (842728-X) is seeking a Quantity Surveyor Executive with an M&E background in Puchong, Selangor. The role focuses on cost management, budgeting and procurement to ensure project efficiency.

Candidates with 2–5 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in QS or related field are encouraged to apply. Salary ranges from RM3,000 to RM4,000 for full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, cost estimating, and budgeting.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare and monitor project budgets.
• Track project costs and flag any variances.
• Assist with drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts.
• Work with the team to manage contract changes and support contract compliance.
• Maintain records of project expenses and payments.
• Prepare reports on costs to ensure projects stay on budget.
• Support communication with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors as needed.
• Build positive relationships to support smooth project delivery.
• Assist in preparing reports for management on project progress and finances.
• Ensure all contract documents and records are accurate and up-to-date
