Job summary

RECT Quantity Surveying Consultant Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a fresh graduate and junior QS to join our team. You will assist with bills of quantities, cost estimates, and budget reports while learning procurement strategies.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Quantity Surveying, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with construction contracts. We offer a 5-day work week and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good attention to detail and methodical approach

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of bills of quantities, cost estimates and budget reports
• Supporting the team in contract administration, valuation and payment processes
• Analysing and validating cost data, and identifying potential cost savings
• Working collaboratively with clients, contractors
• Contributing to the development of procurement strategies and risk management plans
• Undertaking site inspections and measurements as required
• Maintaining accurate records and project documentation
