Job summary

RECT QUANTITY SURVEYING CONSULTANT SDN. BHD. is seeking a junior Quantity Surveyor in Kuala Lumpur. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and the role focuses on supporting cost control, bill of quantities, and contract administration within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline (Mins)
• Fresh graduates welcome (Junior QS)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to interpret technical data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders
• Good attention to detail and methodical approach to work
• Familiarity with construction contracts and industry regulations

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of bills of quantities, cost estimates and budget reports
• Support team in contract administration, valuation and payment processes
• Analyze and validate cost data, identify potential cost savings
• Collaborate with clients and contractors
• Contribute to procurement strategies and risk management plans
• Undertake site inspections and measurements as required
• Maintain accurate records and project documentation
