Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 3–4 years of experience in construction. The successful candidate will contribute to cost estimation, tendering, contracts, and construction claims, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

You will prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, tender documents, monitor project costs, evaluate quotations, handle progress claims, and coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers and project teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of working experience in the construction industry.
• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant quantity surveying software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities, tender documents, and quotations.
• Monitor project costs and ensure expenses remain within the approved budget.
• Evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare progress claims and verify subcontractor claims.
• Handle contract administration and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Prepare cost reports and provide updates to management.
