Job summary

RECT QUANTITY SURVEYING CONSULTANT SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur invites fresh graduates to join as Junior QS, supporting the preparation of bills of quantities, cost estimates and budget reports.

The role emphasizes strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, clear communication with stakeholders, and a methodical approach. You will assist with contracts administration, site measurements, and procurement planning in a 5-day work week environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline.
• Fresh graduates welcome (Junior QS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of bills of quantities, cost estimates and budget reports.
• Supporting the team in contract administration, valuation and payment processes.
• Analysing and validating cost data, and identifying potential cost savings.
• Working collaboratively with clients, contractors.
• Contributing to the development of procurement strategies and risk management plans.
• Undertaking site inspections and measurements as required.
• Maintaining accurate records and project documentation.
