Job summary

RECT Quantity Surveying Consultant Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor.

Fresh graduates are welcome, with strong analytical and communication skills to interpret technical data and liaise with stakeholders. The role involves preparation of bills of quantities, cost estimates, contract administration and site measurements. You will support cost control, procurement planning and documentation, while maintaining detailed project records in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
• Fresh Graduate also welcome to apply (Junior QS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of bills of quantities, cost estimates and budget reports.
• Supporting the team in contract administration, valuation and payment processes.
• Analysing and validating cost data, and identifying potential cost savings.
• Working collaboratively with clients, contractors.
• Contributing to the development of procurement strategies and risk management plans.
• Undertaking site inspections and measurements as required.
• Maintaining accurate records and project documentation.
