Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BQ), quantity take-offs and measurements based on project drawings and specifications.
Assist in preparing project cost estimates, cost breakdowns and tender-related documents.
Assist in preparing tender and quotation documents and evaluating prices from contractors and suppliers.
Assist in reviewing contractors’ progress claims based on completed works.
Assist in preparing and evaluating Variation Orders (VO) and changes to the project scope.
Conduct site measurements to verify quantities and work progress.
Assist in preparing cost reports, payment records and contract documentation.
Assist in preparing the Final Account and ensuring project cost records are properly updated.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Teams, contractors, subcontractors and relevant parties on cost and contractual matters.
Assist in monitoring and controlling project costs against the approved budget.
Review drawings, specifications, contract documents and variation instructions related to project costs.
Maintain proper records of project costs, contracts, measurements and related documentation.
Perform other Quantity Surveying duties assigned by the management.
Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of quantity take-off, BQ, tendering, progress claims, VO and Final Account.
Able to read and understand technical drawings, specifications and contract documents.
Good understanding of quantity measurement and basic cost estimation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of Quantity Surveying software such as AutoCAD, CostX or related software is an advantage.
Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, organised and comfortable working with numbers.
Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
Willing to work at project sites and travel when required.
