Job summary

RECT QUANTITY SURVEYING CONSULTANT SDN. BHD. is seeking a junior quantity surveyor to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The role assists with quantities, cost estimates, and budget reports, with opportunities to learn procurement strategies and risk management.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline, possess good analytical skills, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline.
• Fresh graduates welcome (Junior QS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret technical data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders.
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of bills of quantities, cost estimates and budget reports.
• Support the team in contract administration, valuation and payment processes.
• Analyze and validate cost data, and identify potential cost savings.
• Collaborate with clients and contractors.
• Contribute to procurement strategies and risk management plans.
• Undertake site inspections and measurements as required; maintain records.
