Job summary

Double K Air Conditioning & Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (ACMV) to handle tender preparation, cost estimation, and project cost control for ACMV systems on commercial and industrial projects.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of ACMV tendering or costing experience, and the ability to read drawings and prepare BQ under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ACMV tendering or project costing experience.

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) who specializes in Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) System for commercial and industrial projects. You will be responsible for handling tender preparation, cost estimation, and project cost control related to Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation system works.

• Prepare and review tender documents, BQ, and cost breakdown for Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation System projects.
• Evaluate material take-off, supplier quotations, and subcontractor pricing.
• Liaise with engineers and clients to ensure accurate technical and financial documentation.
• Assist management in project cost monitoring and variation order evaluation.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation System (ACMV) tendering or project costing.
• Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and BQ preparation.
• Able to work independently and meet tender deadlines.
