Job summary

Acre Works Sdn Bhd, a well-established construction company headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, seeks a Quantity Surveyor to manage project cost, contractual and commercial activities in Malaysia. You will handle progress claims, measurements, variations, cost reporting, and subcontractor claims while ensuring adherence to company policies and ISO standards.

You will prepare/monitor claims, valuations, and final accounts; conduct site measurements and take-offs; manage VO/EOT; assist with tendering

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor progress claims, valuations, and final accounts.
• Conduct site measurements, quantity take-offs, and cost monitoring.
• Prepare and manage Variation Orders (VO), EOT claims, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with tendering, RFQs, quotation analysis, and procurement activities.
• Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and project financial summaries.
• Maintain proper contract, cost, measurement, and project records.
• Coordinate with Project, Contract, Finance, Procurement, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards including ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 37001 (ABMS).
• Support audits, commercial issue resolution, and management reporting.

Responsible for managing project cost, contractual, and commercial activities, including progress claims, measurements, variations, cost reporting, and subcontractor claims, ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and monitor progress claims, subcontractor claims, valuations, and final accounts.

Conduct site measurements, quantity take-offs, and cost monitoring.

Prepare and manage Variation Orders (VO), EOT claims, and supporting documentation.

Assist with tendering, RFQs, quotation analysis, and procurement activities.

Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and project financial summaries.

Maintain proper contract, cost, measurement, and project records.

Coordinate with Project, Contract, Finance, Procurement, engineers, and subcontractors.

Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 37001 (ABMS).

Support audits, commercial issue resolution, and management reporting.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

3-5 years relevant experience, preferably in construction/infrastructure.

Knowledge of construction methods, cost control, measurement, and contract administration.

Familiar with PAM, PWD, FIDIC is an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and QS software such as CostX/Glodon.

Strong analytical, numerical, communication, and coordination skills.

Able to work independently with good integrity, accountability, and teamwork.
