Job summary

Jora Malaysia is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for projects in Penang, Malaysia. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience and a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Cubicost is desirable; Mandarin fluency is preferred due to client interactions.

Candidates should be able to work under pressure and independently. Responsibilities include preparing progress claims, VOs and subcontractor claims, site valuation and other QS

Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience
• Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Fluent in Mandarin preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients
• Able to work under pressure and independently

Responsibilities

• Prepare progress claims, variation orders (VOs) and subcontractor claims
• Site valuation
• Carry out other relevant QS tasks as assigned by supervisor
