Job summary

Lexington in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support tendering, costing, estimation and valuation activities. The role involves preparing bills of quantities, reviewing drawings, and coordinating with procurement for site materials.

You will assist in interim claims and maintain comprehensive project records. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying with at least 2 years of experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a proactive

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Able to prepare bills of quantity.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Must be self-motivated and have proactive approach.
• Have a good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to perform full range of quantity surveyor (pre & post) activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents including measurements and bills of quantities.
• Perform tendering, costing, estimation and quotation evaluations and analysis.
• Provide administrative support and maintain project information for claims.
• Assist in quantities and measurement take-off.
• Assist in preparing interim claims and valuations for subcontractors.
• Ensure claim dates are up to date and comprehensive.
• Prepare quotations & supporting for variation orders.
• Review contract drawings and highlight any deviation from tender.
• Administer site orders of materials with procurement where necessary.
• Source suppliers and subcontractors.
• Handle data entry for subcontractors’ claim & filing system.
• Assist in managing, monitoring and coordinating quantity surveying work and contractual matters.

• To prepare tender documents which including measurements and bills of quantities.
• To perform tendering, costing, estimation and quotation evaluations and analysis

CLAIMS

• Provide administrative support and maintain all required project information throughout each project for claim purpose
• Assist to perform quantities and measurement take off
• Assist to prepare interim claims to the main contractors/clients
• Assist to prepare interim valuation and certification for sub-contractors’ claims
• To ensure the claim date are Up to date and comprehensive
• Prepare quotations & supporting for variation orders
• To review contract drawings and documents & to highlight any deviation from tender

PROCUREMENT

• To administer and coordinate site orders of materials with procurement where necessary
• To source suppliers and sub-contractors

OTHERS

• To handle & maintain data entry for sub-contractors’ claim & filling system.
• To handle any other tasks assigned
• Assist in managing, monitoring and coordinating quantity surveying work and contractual matters
