Job summary

Honfuak Foundry Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a junior Quantity Surveyor to support design calculations, tendering, and cost control on projects.

You will liaise with subcontractors and clients, prepare BQ and documentation, and assist in contract administration and site progress follow-up. Fresh graduates or interns are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in QS or related field.

• Experience with tendering, cost planning, and contract administration is preferred.

• Prepare design calculations and technical drawings.
• Prepare tender BQ and tender documentation, project costing and contract administration.
• Assist in calling quotation and tender coordination.
• Assist in taking-off quantities and cost planning.
• Check and verify claims from sub-contractors.
• Liaise with sub-contractors, client, consultant and project team.
• Follow-up with project team on progress of work done at site.
• Assist in operation matters on contractual issues and any other contracts administration duties related to QS.
