Job summary

Signature Alliance Group Berhad in Penang is seeking an Assistant Manager, Quantity Surveyor to lead project costing, tendering, contract administration, procurement and cost control for construction and fit-out projects.

You will work with project, design and procurement teams to ensure budgets are met, evaluate subcontractor claims and guide junior QS staff as required. A bachelor’s or diploma in QS or related field is preferred, with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying within construction or interior fit-out.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts, costing, tendering, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BQ), and tender documents.
• Review tender submissions, quotations, and conduct cost comparisons.
• Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for cost-effective solutions.

ASSISTANT MANAGER, QUANTITY SURVEYOR (CONSTRUCTION) (PENANG)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, Quantity Surveyor (QS) to support the successful delivery of our construction and fit-out projects. In this role, you will be responsible for project costing, tendering, contract administration, procurement, and cost control, while working closely with the project, design, procurement, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule.
