Job summary

Bumantara Construction Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a civil engineering professional with hands-on construction project experience to support tendering and cost estimation activities.

You will handle pre- to post-contract tender processes, prepare BOQ, budgets, monitor tenders, control costs, negotiate with subcontractors, and coordinate materials and site measurements.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on construction project experience.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Willingness to multi-task and undertake responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle pre-contract to post-contract tender processes.
• Prepare the bill of quantities, tender, project budget, and cost estimates.
• Monitor and plan tenders.
• Control construction costs and administer variations.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Perform material estimation and site measurements.
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.
