Job summary

Cloud Destinations Infotech Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced QS & Contract Management Specialist (Corporate Office) to strengthen its commercial and cost control on ongoing and upcoming office fit-out projects in Kuala Lumpur.

You'll oversee end-to-end quantity surveying from tender through final accounts, develop cost plans, lead subcontractor negotiations, and manage progress payments, variations, claims, and final accounts while collaborating with design and construction teams to safeguard

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Experience in Corporate Office Design & Build projects incl. interior fit-out, MEP, and architectural trades.
• Track record delivering corporate office interior or commercial fit-out projects from start to finish.
• Strong cost planning, value engineering, procurement, and contract administration.
• Good working knowledge of local pre- and post-contract management, cost benchmarks, and market rates.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation capability, and cost control skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end quantity surveying across tendering through to final account settlement.
• Develop and control project cost plans, including estimates, budgets, tender documentation, and forecasts.
• Lead subcontractor evaluation and commercial negotiations for competitive pricing and value optimization.
• Administer progress payments, variation assessments, claims management, and final accounts.

We are seeking an experienced QS & Contract Management Specialist (Corporate Office) to strengthen its commercial and cost management capabilities across ongoing and upcoming office fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end quantity surveying functions across all project stages, from tendering and procurement through to project close‑out and final account settlement.
• Develop and control project cost plans, including preparation of estimates, budgets, tender documentation, and ongoing financial forecasts.
• Lead subcontractor evaluation and commercial negotiations, ensuring competitive pricing, value optimisation, and contract compliance.
• Administer contractual and commercial matters, such as progress payments, variation assessments, claims management, and final accounts.
• Collaborate closely with design, project, and construction teams specifically for corporate office to manage cost implications during design development while safeguarding project profitability and cash flow.

Key Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. Minimum 3 – 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably with main contractors.
• Demonstrated strong hands‑on experience in Corporate Office Design & Build projects, covering interior fit‑out works, MEP, and architectural trades.
• Established track record delivering corporate office interior or commercial fit‑out projects with full involvement from start to finish.
• Solid expertise in cost planning, value engineering, procurement, and contract administration.
• Good working knowledge of local construction pre and post contract management, cost benchmarks, and market rates.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation capability, and cost control skills.
• Able to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, client‑facing project environment with multiple stakeholders.

Location and Working Hours

Work Location: Kuala Lumpur

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m., with a hybrid setup of 4 days onsite and 1 day work from home.
