Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 4-6 years of experience in construction or interior design, preferably with retail or commercial project exposure.
You will assist in cost estimation, tendering, and contractual administration while supporting financial management, site liaison, and documentation to ensure profitability and compliance.

Cost Estimation & Tendering: Assist in the preparation of detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and cost estimates for new retail and commercial projects.
Contractual Administration: Support the team in drafting Letters of Award, managing contract documentation, and ensuring compliance with project terms.
Financial Management: Prepare progress claims, payment certificates, and final accounts. Monitor project budgets and assist in cost control to ensure profitability.
Site & Stakeholder Liaison: Conduct site valuations and coordinate with sub-contractors, suppliers, and project teams to verify work progress and resolve discrepancies.
Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of all project-related documents, including drawings, contracts, claims, and change orders.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Experience: min 4-6 years of experience in the construction or interior design industry, with exposure to retail or commercial projects.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are also essential.
Certifications: Provisional registration with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM) is a plus.
