Job summary

DMX Projects Sdn Bhd is a Design and Build company that provides urban and modern interior decoration for commercial spaces, and also handles design and build for roadshows & events, including visual merchandising and reinstatement work.

We are seeking a reliable Quantity Surveyor to join our capable team to analyze budgets, prepare estimates, negotiate with contractors, and support cost control, with collaboration with our Singapore office.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must work well with Singapore office team.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing sub-contractors and suppliers and negotiating prices.
• Submit progressive claims and vary orders to clients.
• Carry out quantity take-offs for tendering projects.
• Prepare profit and loss and final accounts for projects.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor claims.
• Assist management to prepare paperwork.
• Take off quantities and prepare costing and budgets for projects.

Job description

We are a Design and Build company that provides urban and modern interior decoration to commercial and business spaces. We also provide design and build for roadshows & events and perform visual merchandising and reinstatement works as added services to our clients.

We are searching for a reliable quantity surveyor to join our capable team of professionals. The quantity surveyor will be tasked with analyzing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers.

Key responsibilities

Sourcing for sub-contractors and supplier and negotiate price with them

Submission of progressive claim and variation of orders to the client

Carry out quantity take-off for tendering of projects

Prepare profit and loss & final account for project

Evaluate and certify subcontractor's claim

Assist manage to prepare paper work

Take off quantities and prepare costing and budget for project

About you

Candidate will be required to work closely with Singapore office team for smooth work execution.

Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Quantity Survey qualifications

At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Methodical approach and superb interpersonal skills

Great at analyzing costs and know how to read people and tailor negotiation strategies
