Job summary

YU CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support construction projects in the Klang Selangor area. The role focuses on preparing quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents, as well as on-site measurements and progress reporting.

The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying with 1–3 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in construction software.

• Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure project delivery.
• Assist in final accounts and contractual claims preparation.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.

About the roleWe are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team at YU CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects in the Klang Selangor area. This is a full-time position that will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in the field of quantity surveying.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the senior quantity surveyor in preparing and analysing bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents

Conducting on-site measurements and preparing progress reports

Monitoring and controlling project costs, including procurement and subcontractor management

Liaising with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects

Providing support in the preparation of final accounts and contractual claims

Maintaining accurate project records and documentation

What we're looking for

A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field

1-3 years of experience in a quantity surveying or construction-related role

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with numbers and data

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team

Proficiency in the use of construction-related software and tools

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy

Knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards
