We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at NINE TREE DESIGN SDN. BHD. in Gelang Patah, Johor. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and successful project delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects
• Monitor project budgets and costs, identifying potential savings and risks
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts
• Analyse and process progress claims, variations, and final accounts
• Provide cost advice and recommendations to the project team
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects

What we're looking for

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum 1 year to 2 year of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, tendering processes, and cost control methodologies
• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with the construction industry in Malaysia is preferred
