Job summary

QSun Quantity Surveyors Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our team. You will prepare cost estimates, perform quantity take-offs, and compile Bills of Quantities for diverse projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will also evaluate tenders, coordinate with consultants and clients, attend site meetings, handle interim valuations, variations, and final accounts, and assist in post-contract administration to support project success.

Qualifications

• Experience as a quantity surveyor.
• Experience in contracts administration.
• Experience preparing and submitting tenders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and feasibility studies independently.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Analyse and evaluate tender submissions.
• Prepare and compile tender and contract documents.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients to ensure consistency of documentation.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Carry out interim valuations and recommend progress payments.
• Assess and evaluate variation orders and contractual claims.
• Monitor project costs and prepare financial reports.
• Prepare and assist in final account settlement.
