Job summary

WellCall Hose (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Quality Supervisor focused on Documentation and Process Control. You will oversee the QMS, maintain ISO documentation, and lead audits.

You will supervise a team, manage non-conformances, drive process improvements, and report results to production, engineering and customers. The role requires attention to detail and strong compliance mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining ISO 9001 QMS and related documentation.
• Exposure to GMP practices and audit readiness.
• Ability to lead corrective actions and root-cause investigations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee control, issuance and archiving of ISO documentation (Quality Manuals, SOPs, work instructions).
• Lead internal ISO audits; coordinate with external certifying bodies; ensure audit readiness.
• Review and approve Document Change Requests to align with ISO clauses.
• Supervise team; assign tasks, schedule shifts, train inspectors/operators.
• Conduct floor/line quality audits to verify ISO 9001 / GMP compliance.
• Manage non-conformances; coordinate containment; lead root-cause investigations.
• Analyze quality metrics; update SOPs; support Lean or Six Sigma initiatives.
• Prepare audit reports; liaise with production, engineering and customers.

QMS Maintenance: Oversee the control, issuance, and archiving of all ISO-related documentation, including Quality Manuals, SOPs, and Work Instructions.

Audit Leadership: Lead internal ISO audits, host external certification bodies, and ensure all departments are audit-ready.

Document Control: Review and approve Document Change Requests (DCR) to ensure updates comply with current ISO clauses.

Team Supervision: Assign daily tasks, schedule shifts, and train inspectors or operators.

Quality Audits: Perform regular floor and line audits to verify compliance with standards like ISO 9001 or GMP.

Defect Management: Handle non-conformances, coordinate product containment, and lead root-cause investigations.

Process Improvement: Analyze quality metrics, update SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and support Lean or Six Sigma initiatives.

Reporting & Collaboration: Prepare audit reports and liaise with production, engineering, and customers.
