Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Supervisor to oversee QC inspection activities at our Johor manufacturing site. You will supervise QC inspectors, manage inspection priorities, and ensure compliance with customer specifications and the QMS.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily QC inspection activities including incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Ensure inspections are conducted according to procedures, drawings, and customer specifications.
• Review and verify inspection documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCR), customer complaints, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Participate in MRB activities for non-conforming materials and customer returns.
• Monitor key quality metrics such as scrap and defects to identify improvements.
• Lead and train QC inspectors, including cross-training.
• Maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection records per QMS.
• Support internal quality audits and ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
• Ensure calibration/maintenance of inspection equipment.

Position Summary/ Objective:

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Quality Control (QC) inspection activities withinthe manufacturing site to ensure products meet customer specifications and company qualitystandards. This role supervises QC inspectors, manages inspection priorities, monitors quality issues,and supports continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

The Quality Supervisor works closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues,maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), and improve overall manufacturing qualityperformance.

Job Description:

• Supervise daily QC inspection activities including incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.


• Ensure inspections are conducted according to procedures, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.

• Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities for non-conforming materials and customer returns.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.


• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing quality inspection, with supervisory experiencepreferred.


• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System and basic Lean manufacturing practices isan advantage.


• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and product specifications.


• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Physical Demands:

• Ability to perform moderate walking and occasional climbing.


• Physically capable of conducting inspections and handling inspection equipment.


• Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds when required.


• The role requires regular standing, sitting, bending, and stooping during the course of work.
