United Vehicles Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Executive to join the automotive manufacturing team. You will ensure product quality compliance, manage customer returns, support audits, and drive continuous improvement in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 standards.
The role involves non-conforming and customer returns management, quality documentation, investigation and testing, and active participation in audits and Kaizen-driven improvements.
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Executive to join our Automotive Manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will ensure product quality compliance, manage customer returns, support audits, and drive continuous improvement activities in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 standards.
Handle non-conforming products in accordance with documented procedures.
Investigate and verify defects for all customer-returned products immediately.
Record non-conformance cases in Corrective Action Report (CAR) and submit to relevant departments.
Ensure customer return records are completed and submitted to Warranty Section for claim processing.
Monitor corrective action plans and verify implementation by target date.
Coordinate meetings with Production to discuss root causes, countermeasures, and follow-up actions.
Attend inter-department meetings and ensure agreed actions are implemented.
Maintain cleanliness and proper control of rejection area.
Ensure process changes and new model introductions are properly inspected/tested before approval and mass production.
Attend automotive customer meetings (new product/project) and conduct fitment tests as required.
Ensure inspection records under Customer Inspection Agreement are completed and submitted on time.
Report quality failures in Quality Failure Report and submit to Quality Manager.
Ensure inspection requirements are met based on QC Process Chart, Inspection Standards, and Customer Inspection Plans.
Investigate quality rejects and report cost impact to management.
Conduct testing for parts/processes to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Support internal, external, and customer audits.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 requirements.
Prepare and support audit documentation, evidence, and follow-up actions.
Assist in closing audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Maintain readiness of quality records and inspection documentation for audit purposes.
Verify inspection jig measurements and record in inspection jig check sheet.
Ensure QAQC circle activities run smoothly, and Kaizen submissions are completed monthly.
Monitor yearly Quality Improvement Plans and ensure timely implementation.
Prepare Training for Quality members department.
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 1 years relevant working experience in a quality environment.
Knowledge of Quality Principles and familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 requirements.
Technical skills in using measurement tools (Caliper, Radius gauge, Bolt gauge, Taper gauge).
Knowledge in measurement equipment such as CF, CMM is an advantage.
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good time management and planning skills.
