Job summary

MONIN Asia KL Sdn Bhd is seeking a QC-focused professional to perform analytical testing on packaging materials and finished products, under minimal supervision, and report to the Quality Manager. The role includes inspecting incoming materials, addressing non-conformances with suppliers, and assisting in new packaging material evaluations and continuous improvement projects.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Food Science or related field with about 1 year in a similar industry, and knowledge

Qualifications

• 1 year working experience in similar industry.
• Experience in QMS auditing and supplier audits.
• Experience in conducting trials, evaluations, and validations for new packaging materials or packaging changes.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, QC tools and QMS auditing.
• Knowledge of lab testing for sauce, powder and packaging is added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC analysis on packaging material and finished products under minimal supervision.

• Request improvement action from supplier on quality non-conformance.
• Assist in new packaging material or continuous improvement project.
• Assist Quality Manager in new packaging material evaluation, trial and validation reports.
• Maintain good laboratory practices.
• Comply with company’s rules and regulations.
• Perform any activity related to GMP requirements (audits, Hygiene & Safety, etc.).
• Maintain equipment calibrations and update calibration records.
• Assist in updating quality control procedures and records.
• Assist in customer complaint investigation.
• Perform any other job/function as assigned by superior.

Job description

To perform QC analysis on packaging material and finished products with minimal supervision and report directly to the Quality Manager on all related issues.

To inspect incoming packaging materials.

To on hold, replace and investigate online packaging material related quality non-conformance.

To request improvement action from supplier on quality non-conformance.

To assist in new packaging material or continuous improvement project.

To assist Quality Manager in new packaging material evaluation, trial and validation report compilation

To maintain good laboratory practices.

To comply with company’s rules and regulations.

To perform any activity related to GMP requirements (ie: Hygiene & Safety audit, House Keeping audit, Glass Breakage audit, Swab test, ATP, Pest Control, Internal NCs, Quarantine Form and etc.)

To maintain equipment for calibration and update calibration records as required.

To assist in updating quality control procedures and records as and when required.

To assist in customer complaint investigation.

To perform any other job/function that may be assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

Degree in Food Science or other Science related field.

1 year working experience in similar industry.
