Job summary

Sunward Pharmaceutical Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a laboratory technician to ensure products are safe and compliant, working with microbiology, production, QC and QA.

You will perform routine analysis on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, operate HPLC and other lab instruments, and participate in method validation and stability testing.

This role requires a Diploma in Science or Pharmacy and willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime; fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate/Diploma in Science or Pharmaceutical or equivalent.
• Qualified candidates with no working experience are welcomed to apply.
• Able to work on rotation Shift and working overtime

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Microbiologist, Production, QC and QA to ensure all apparatus and end products are safe and free from contamination.
• Routine analysis and recording of raw material, intermediates and finished product.
• Operate High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and laboratory analytical instruments.
• Carry out stability testing.
• Carry out dissolution profile test and monitoring.
• Carry out Analytical method validation.
• Sampling, routine checking and recording of packaging material.
• On line checking and recording of in-process granules and tablets; in-process syrup and cream.
• Check and approve packing processes.
• Carry out calibration/performance verification of laboratory equipment/apparatus.
• Quality Control checks on raw material dispensing.
• Ensure coding of labels and bar code labels are complete & accurate.
• Preparation and recording of reagents and chemicals.
• Perform analysis and support for working standard preparation.
• Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of laboratory equipment and workplace.
• Practice Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and laboratory safety.
• Maintain QC documents up to date and accurate.
• Update laboratory equipment log book/QC records and other QC documents.

Job description
