Job summary

MONIN Asia KL Sdn Bhd is seeking a QC-focused professional to perform analytical testing on packaging materials and finished products, under minimal supervision, and report to the Quality Manager. The role includes inspecting incoming materials, addressing non-conformances with suppliers, and assisting in new packaging material evaluations and continuous improvement projects.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Food Science or related field with about 1 year in a similar industry, and knowledge

Qualifications

• 1 year working experience in similar industry.
• Experience in QMS auditing and supplier audits.
• Experience in conducting trials, evaluations, and validations for new packaging materials or packaging changes.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, QC tools and QMS auditing.
• Knowledge of lab testing for sauce, powder and packaging is added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC analysis on packaging material and finished products under minimal supervision.
• Inspect incoming packaging materials.
• On-hold, replace and investigate online packaging material related quality non-conformance.
• Request improvement action from supplier on quality non-conformance.
• Assist in new packaging material or continuous improvement project.
• Assist Quality Manager in new packaging material evaluation, trial and validation reports.
• Maintain good laboratory practices.
• Comply with company’s rules and regulations.
• Perform any activity related to GMP requirements (audits, Hygiene & Safety, etc.).
• Maintain equipment calibrations and update calibration records.
• Assist in updating quality control procedures and records.
• Assist in customer complaint investigation.
• Perform any other job/function as assigned by superior.
